  • Minimum of Trade Test Certificate or other related discipline.
  • Minimum of 1-year relevant work experience – Cement industry knowledge may be an added advantage.

About the Role


  • Responsible for the safe operation & maintenance of ship unloader machine.
  • Ensure extraction operation from vessel with proper placing of machine and spout connection.
  • Ensure He will be on the ship keeping him in safe condition & using remote controller keeping the machine safety into consideration he will operate & extract the cement until predetermined quantity.
  • Ensure to give report on the conditions of the operation and report any abnormal condition to Engineers & line manager
  • Responsible to record the running parameters, stoppage & fuel inputs.
  • Responsible to shift the machine from spout to spout when hatch changing.
  • Ensure to clear all materials from pipeline before disconnecting and safe parking of machine.
  • Responsible to do maintenance of the machine.
  • Ensure to maintain the machine is always clean .
  • Responsible for all tools & tackles, Radio, and its proper handing over

Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Line Manager.
